Obviously the news has filtered through the media that I have officially left Sprint Gas Racing. I will have more news in the very near future as to where I am headed in 2009 and what I will be doing, but from my point of view it’s all very exciting.

To all the Sprint Gas Racing/Tasman Motorsport fans out there I want to thank you for all the support over the years. It has always meant a lot to me, so please don’t be strangers in the pit lane. I’m just a little further down the road.

A new champion crowned, a legend farewelled, a few parties, some paintball and a rumour mill in overdrive. It’s been quite the week.

It’s the silly season in more ways than one right now as the V8 rumour mill kicks into overdrive. All sorts of stories have come out this week, from the alleged financial problems of Mark Skaife, to a rumour closer to home, concerning Sprint Gas Racing not being around next year.
